One summer, near my apartment, I watched a plant grow from a crack in the concrete down the sidewalk. First it grew a stem, then bright green tomatoes.

“Assembly” is a photographic meditation on the creative ways life comes into being and flourishes amidst climate precarity and ecological transformation.
